Telluride

This 2027 Kia Telluride Review looks at this redesigned three-row SUV that keeps its family-friendly space while adding a more modern design, updated technology, and a broader mix of comfort and capability. With trims ranging from practical LX and S models to SX-Prestige, X-Line, and X-Pro versions, the Telluride remains a strong choice for shoppers who want near-premium features without moving into a luxury badge.

The new things we noticed during our 2027 Kia Telluride Review:

  • Redesigned from the ground up, putting a fresh face on an established bold style.
  • New infotainment, technology, and safety upgrades at a competitive price make this an SUV worth considering.

About the Kia Telluride

The Kia Telluride debuted in 2020 to compete with three-row SUVs like the Honda Pilot, Subaru Ascent, and Toyota Highlander. The Telluride, on the other hand, quickly went to the top of the charts instead of competing. It’s known for its beautiful exterior, open interior, and ample storage. It’s also fun to drive. The Telluride has been the best SUV in its class for five years in a row, and we have a hard time suggesting another one because it is so well-made.

The Telluride’s interior has always had about the same quality as the inside of a car that costs double. We’ve always been sure that it will last because the materials are great, and the building is solid. Drivers have always received the best of both worlds inside the Telluride, and that’s not even counting the many technological features that make the experience better.

What’s new for 2027

Kia decided to take a gap year and focus on what drivers really want. In 2027, Kia decided to redesign the fairly new Kia Telluride as an attempt to keep it’s place as a top contender. The new design features a larger body, longer wheelbase, and a modern aesthetic to an SUV that was already the top of its class.

We noticed a new, modern focus on the second generation in our 2027 Kia Telluride review. Drivers get a first-class interior and an exterior that’s more than capable. Featuring a turbo-hybrid engine and an estimated 35 MPG. Getting the most out of your 2027 Kia Telluride is easy on and off the road. With the new 12.3-inch dual displays and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, drivers and passengers alike can drive in comfort and style. What's New?

In short, almost everything is new. The 2027 Kia Telluride arrives with an all-new exterior and a drivetrain ready for everyday situations. Inside features dual 12.3-inch displays with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to modernize the cabin for drivers and passengers. Fuel efficiency sees a massive improvement due to the 2.5L engine. It’s estimated to deliver a combined 35 MPG, according to Kia, compared to the previous V6.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The 2027 Kia Telluride features a redesigned infotainment system with dual 12.3” displays. This is the first year to feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to leave the cables behind. Its simple layout allows you quick access to everything you need, such as navigation, audio controls, and car settings. Our favorite part is that, unlike some of its competitors, Kia kept physical controls for volume, climate, and more. Giving drivers proper physical feedback when changing between the dials and buttons. Options to upgrade the audio system are available. The new Tellurides experience finds a nice blend between modern tech and everyday use.

Kia Telluride Price and Invoice Pricing

The 2027 Kia Telluride matches the price of its third-row competitors at just north of. As you expand trims, features, and optional packages, the price increases into the upper $50,000 range. The trim level and options give you a ton of flexibility in price for what you need. Get a safe, comfortable, family-friendly SUV at a competitive price or ride in luxury with premium options without the premium price tag.

2027 Kia Telluride Starting Price

The 2027 Kia Telluride MSRP starts at $39,190. The lineup includes LX FWD, S FWD, EX FWD, S AWD, EX AWD, X-Line EX AWD, SX FWD, X-Line SX AWD, X-Pro SX AWD, SX-Prestige AWD, X-Line SX-Prestige AWD, and X-Pro SX-Prestige AWD. That gives Telluride shoppers a wide price range, from a practical three-row family SUV to a more upscale model with added comfort, a stronger visual presence, and more capability-focused equipment.

What Changes the Final Kia Telluride Price?

Telluride pricing changes most when shoppers move from LX, S, and EX trims into SX, SX-Prestige, X-Line, or X-Pro versions. LX and S make sense for buyers who want three-row space and strong value without moving too far up the price ladder. EX adds more comfort, while SX and SX-Prestige bring a more premium-feeling cabin and technology package. X-Line adds a tougher look with standard AWD, and X-Pro is aimed at shoppers who want a more capable version of the Telluride. The final price can also vary based on AWD, destination charges, dealer-installed accessories, package availability, and trim availability.

How Invoice Pricing Helps Kia Telluride Shoppers

Invoice pricing helps Telluride shoppers compare family SUV trims with more context. A LX FWD, X-Line EX AWD, SX-Prestige AWD, and X-Pro SX-Prestige AWD may all share the Telluride name, but they are built around different buyer priorities: family value, all-weather confidence, near-premium comfort, or a more capability-focused setup. Invoice pricing gives shoppers a dealer-side cost reference for the exact Telluride trim they are considering, which can make it easier to judge whether AWD, X-Line styling, X-Pro equipment, or SX-Prestige comfort features are worth the added cost. That does not mean every Telluride will sell at invoice, since incentives, inventory, local demand, and dealer fees can still affect the final offer.
