The 2026 has an increased Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), with certain trims and configurations reaching up to 11,040 lbs., making it useful as an everyday workhorse.

Much of the 2026 Ram 2500 remains the same, including the powertrain lineup, which features the standard 6.4 L HEMI V8 or the iconic 6.7 L Cummins diesel.
