The Cadillac Lyriq has three new trim levels: Tech, Luxury, and Sport. The estimated range for the all-wheel-drive version has dropped from 312 miles to 307 miles on a full charge and from 308 miles to 307 miles for the rear-wheel-drive version. Cadillac made the 2024 Lyriq available in eight colors, giving customers more ways to make the car their own. Cadillac’s luxury electric SUV has a much more comprehensive range of models in its second year. The trim levels for the 2024 Lyriq have been changed. The base model is now called Tech, the middle model is Luxury, and the top model is Sport. The main differences between trim levels are the gadgets and the car’s appearance. The Luxury trim has choreographed exterior lighting, illuminated exterior door handles, rain-sensing wipers, and other features. The base trim has the same standard safety features as the higher trims. The chrome trim on the front and back fascias, windows, and body moldings is blacked out on the Sport trim. You can get 22-inch alloy wheels instead of the 20-inch ones with the Luxury and Sport trims. The Lyriq was previously only available in silver, but now customers can choose eight exterior paint colors. The upper trims have four different interior color options, but the base trim only comes in black and gray. Cadillac cut the estimated range of the Lyriq from 312 miles for the RWD model to 308 miles for the RWD model and 307 miles for the AWD model. In our standard EV highway range test, a 2023 model with rear-wheel drive went 75 mph for 270 miles. The single-motor, rear-drive version has 340 hp, and the two-motor, all-wheel-drive version has 500 hp. The performance of the Lyriq with rear-wheel drive hit 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, but we have yet to drive one with two motors.
