Introducing the Model Y Juniper

Later, Model Y cars will be less expensive because the Launch Series comes with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive engine and the Long Range battery as standard. Tesla’s renamed Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system and a feature called “Acceleration Boost ” are part of the Launch Series. Special edition stickers on the door sills, puddle lamps, and rear liftgate let you know what kind of car it is.

Tesla says the electric small SUV can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and have a top speed of 125 mph, but the company hasn’t said how much power the Model Y Launch Series has. If you put on bigger 20-inch wheels instead of the usual 19-inch ones, the EPA says the range drops to 303 miles.

The inside of the Model Y Launch Series can be all black or black and white with two different shades. The front seats are heated and cooled, and the center tablet is 15.4 inches. The display for people in the back seats is 8.0 inches. In addition to the new front-facing unit, there is also an extra camera on the outside and a 15-speaker sound system, making a total of eight. The Juniper, like the newly redesigned Tesla Model 3, has had many software updates for communication, soundproofing, and suspension.

Exploring the Model Y Juniper’s Options and Price

The Launch Series starts at $61,630 and comes with the usual features we already talked about. You can get the bigger wheels for free, and you can paint them in one of four colors, including Ultra Red. The tow hitch, which comes with the normal towing package and lets the Model Y pull up to 3,500 pounds, works the same way.

When it comes to supply, Tesla hasn’t yet said how many Launch Series cars it plans to make. We expect a performance model with rear-wheel drive, but we’ll have to wait and see if more cheap cars are added. Right now, these can be bought with the old Model Y, which can still be bought on Tesla’s website.
