Audi has confirmed that the Q6 e-Tron, an electric SUV that will be in between the Q4 e-Tron and the Q8 e-Tron, will be a new model. It will use the new PPE platform from the VW Group, which has an electrical system with 800 volts. The Q6 e-Tron will be released later this year and sold in the US in 2025. A new electric car, the Audi Q6 e-Tron, has been added to the lineup. As the name suggests, it will be between the Q4 e-Tron and the recently renamed Q8 e-Tron EV SUVs. Like its siblings, the Q6 e-ton will come as a traditional SUV and a Softback with a sloped back. Here is a picture of the square back. Its general size is about what we would expect from an Audi crossover. We are still determining how much the prototype’s lights will change for the final version, but the front has split headlights like the BMW X7. With this model, the PPE electric platform will make its debut. PPE stands for Premium Platform Electric. On these foundations, which have a more muscular 800-volt electrical system, future models, like the Audi A6 e-torn, will also be built. The Q6 e-standard Tron’s all-wheel-drive system with two motors will be called Quattro; the name Audi gives to all its AWD cars. There will be competition between the Lexus RX, the Genesis Electrified GV70, and the Cadillac Lyric. Even though Audi hasn’t said when the production Q6 e-Tron will come out, we expect to see it soon.
