• The second-generation Kia Telluride is revealed in new teaser photos.
  • The three-row mid-size SUV will have boxier styling and vertically slanted lighting.
  • The 2027 Kia Telluride will debut at the LA Auto Show on November 20.

A new family SUV rarely excites us, but Kia’s Telluride does. An affordable transportation company that won nearly as many 10Best awards as Jordan did championships has reached its peak with the Telluride. Kia released two tantalizing photographs of its second-generation biggest SUV today, which will debut in less than a month.

Over 197 inches long, 78 inches wide, and 69 inches tall, the 2027 Kia Telluride will be big. The teaser images imply crisper edges. Both front and top views show the SUV’s “square-shouldered, upright silhouette,” according to Kia.

Kia will keep the Telluride’s vertically oriented amber daytime running lights, but they’ll be wider. The top image shows two sunroofs on the Telluride. Our eyes may be deceiving us—the side windows appear unobstructed by pillars. The photographs also show roof rails, suggesting Kia may release an off-road X-Pro.

On November 20, Kia will unveil the 2027 Telluride at the LA auto show. We expect the engine to be a 3.8-liter V-6, but we’re sure it’ll be the first hybrid. We’ll know next month, but the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid’s 329-hp may be donated.
