An individual in Germany caught sight of the 2026 Aston Martin DB12 Volante convertible making laps around the Nürburgring. The vehicle showcases a bold front aerodynamic design along with an eye-catching vertically stacked dual exhaust system. Take a look at the car here before it makes its official debut. When spy photographers discovered the hardtop coupe version earlier this year, they believed it was the most expensive model in the line and dubbed it the “DB12 AMR.” Aston had used the name “AMR” in that situation before. But since Aston made the DBX S with the same exhaust and front splitter design, it makes sense to think that the car we’re looking at will be called the DB12 S and will have the same improvements (tuning, small power gain) as the DBX S. It looks less focused on speed than an AMR version but more aggressive than the regular car.There is no information available on whether this car will be released in 2026 or 2027, but rumors suggest that Aston Martin plans to do so in early 2026. We had two opportunities to test drive and inspect the latest (2024) DB12 droptop last year. Both of our writers liked it overall.
