The car company says that users are very interested in the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric. The commission-based Sonderwunsch program lets you make many changes to Porsche’s upcoming electric SUV. The 2026 Cayenne EV will go on sale later this summer, with prices ranging from $111,350 to $165,350. For those in the United States, Porsche started taking bookings this week for the 2026 Cayenne Electric. When the new EV hits American car lots in late summer 2026, it will join the gasoline and hybrid models that are already on the market. It shouldn’t be hard for Porsche to find buyers if early interest is any sign. Porsche says that its US configurator has already recorded more than 110,000 unique setups in just four days since the Cayenne Electric went on sale. This is a new record for the company. The Cayenne Electric is said to be the most flexible SUV ever. Through Porsche’s “raise your hand,” another 10,500 people have shown interest. According to Porsche, the most popular mix for the Cayenne Electric right now is Algarve Blue Metallic over Club Leather Espresso. The Cayenne Electric comes in 13 standard colors, 12 interior options, and nine wheel types. In addition to these options, the company also offers the EV through its Paint to Sample service and Sonderwunsch, which lets customers order truly unique structures. Porsche brought a fully fixed-up first-generation Cayenne GTS with three pedals to the Icons of Porsche event in Dubai to show how customizable Sonderwunsch can be. The 16-year-old SUV was completely fixed up and given an English green interior and a Paint to Sample Blackolive exterior. This is different for an early Cayenne and shows that Porsche sees this model as a future classic. Trump said, “The Cayenne Electric is new from the ground up the most capable, spacious, and performance-oriented iteration yet.” Resch is the president and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. With more than 22,000 sales last year, the Cayenne is still one of Porsche’s most important cars in the US.
