MG Motor has announced how many cars they sold in June. In the month before, 5,125 vehicles were sold by MG Motor. Business statistics show it sold 4,504 units in June 2022, a 14% increase from the previous year (YoY). The third quarter was a good one for the company. From April to June, 14,682 units were made. This is a significant increase for the company since 10,519 units were sold in the same quarter last year. This is a 40% increase from the previous quarter. The company has grown, sending out 4,551 units in April 2023, 5006 units in May 2023, and 5,125 units in June. The Hector SUV is the most popular car sold by the company, making up nearly 70% of all MG sales. The SUV market is improving, so the Hector was remade in January 2023 at the Auto Expo. Also, MG Motor is sure that sales will increase even more, even though the storm Biparjoy has recently caused problems with supplies. The maker says that as India prepares for the holiday season, customer demand should increase after the rainy season. The engine and features of the MG Hector 2023 SUV The new MG Hector can still be bought with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel or a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The torque of Hector’s diesel engine is 350 Newton metres, and it makes 167 horsepower. The gasoline engine has a maximum torque of 250 Nm and a maximum horsepower of 141 bhp. The SUV can be driven with either a manual or an automatic machine. The SUV has different trim levels: Style, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. Customers can pick from models with 5, 6, or 7 seats. For 2023, the Hector got new graphics, an extensive 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen infotainment system, a digital Bluetooth key, and a full-featured I-SMART connectivity suite with 75 linked features. The utility of Level 2 Autonomous ADAS has significantly improved. This includes what MG calls TJA (Traffic Jam Assist). The TJA, which is a mix of adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist, lets the driver take their hands off the wheel and their feet off the pedals while the car in front of them follows them in stop-and-go traffic. The MG Pilot ADAS display can be viewed through the instrument display, which has several other settings that can be changed. When the steering wheel is turned, the SUV’s brilliant turn signal depends on the turn lights. Other features include adaptive cruise control, traffic congestion assist, front collision warning with emergency stop, and high-beam assistance. What is New with MG Motor of India? It costs Rs 7.98 lakh to buy out of the store. In May, MG Motor also released the Gloster Blackstorm SUV, which costs Rs 40.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gloster Blackstorm is available with either 2WD or 4WD, and it has seven different ways to drive. This car has the same 2.0-liter diesel engine in the SUV’s base model. Up to 30 safety measures are on the Gloster Blackstorm, including a Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
