Bentley has unveiled a new version of its iconic “B” logo featuring wings. Since it was first created 106 years ago, the Bentley logo has undergone five changes. As of July 8, Bentley plans to unveil a concept car featuring the new sign before it is applied to regular cars. Please get in touch with Paul McCartney because the new Wings are leaving England. What is that, please? Bentley has made a brand-new “B” sign with wings. The car company has unveiled a new version of its iconic logo. Throughout its 106-year history, the Bentley mark has undergone five distinct versions. The new version is smaller and more efficient than its predecessors. It changes the edge between the two wings and gets rid of some feathers that were under the B. The new look was created by a small group led by Robin Page, Bentley’s new head of design. Page, who took over the design of the brand in 2023, says that the new mark indicates where he wants to take the brand’s design in the near future. Not only does the new mark incorporate parts of older versions, but it also attempts to appear more modern. Previous versions were based on more gentle birds, but Bentley says the new design is meant to be sharper and more dramatic, with wings that look like a peregrine falcon’s. One more reason the design was chosen is that the B can be used as a logo even without the wings. Bentley says that the main part of the logo, which is composed of a chamfered metal frame and a curved glass edge, is inspired by a high-end clock. Before the emblem is applied to normal cars, the new wings will first be showcased on a concept car that Bentley plans to unveil on July 8. The news comes at the same time that Bentley opens a new design lab at its headquarters in the United Kingdom. We won’t have to wait long to find out more about the idea, but no other information was given.
