A UK-based company called Everrati has made a 993-generation Porsche 911 that has been converted into an electric car. A Founders Edition car was shown off earlier this month at Monterey Car Week. The company says they will only make nine cars, but they may make more types that aren’t Founders in the future. These cars will swap out their gas engines for electric motors capable of generating up to 760 horsepower. The last air-cooled 911 was the 993 generation, which is the one you see here. Everrati is a UK-based company specializing in the addition of electric drivetrains to old cars and SUVs. They have just released their newest creation, an EV-swapped 993-generation Porsche 911. An electric motor has replaced the famous sports car from the 1990s with 760 horsepower and a battery pack that can last for 200 miles between charges. The last version of the car had an air-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine. During Monterey Car Week earlier this month, a Founders Edition version was shown off. There will only be nine made. The exact price of the 993 has not been revealed, but considering the company’s Porsche 911 model built on the 964 is priced at $450,000, it is expected to be in a similar range.
