The 2026 Porsche Macan EV GTS falls between the 4S and Turbo models. It has a dual-motor drivetrain that makes 563 horsepower. Porsche claims it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, but a 2025 Macan EV 4S achieved the same feat in invoice-pricing tests, suggesting it should be even faster. The GTS features a black body and an electronically limited-slip rear differential, making it easier to handle. For 2026, Porsche is introducing additional products to its lineup. The third model year for the electric version of the best-selling Macan EV is coming up. The gas-powered Macan had a GTS version for a long time. The 434-hp twin-turbo V-6 replaced the Turbo level in 2022. The GTS name has been given to the Macan EV, which is in the same line of electric luxury small SUVs as the Turbo but not the 4S. The new Macan EV variant emphasizes dynamic handling, similar to past GTS-branded cars, despite having less power than the top-of-the-line Turbo. The largest and most powerful electric motor in the Macan EV lineup is now featured in the new GTS, which boasts two of them. It replaces the turbo model’s rear e-motor. The GTS can produce 509 horsepower with launch control, but an optional upgrade boosts it to 563 horsepower for even quicker starts. With 704 pound-feet of power, Porsche claims the Macan GTS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and cover a quarter-mile in 12.0 seconds. With that much power, the GTS aligns perfectly with the Macan EV’s range. The Turbo has 576 horsepower and 630 horsepower with overboost. The 4S, on the other hand, has 442 horsepower by default and 509 horsepower with launch control. 911 says the GTS can go 155 mph, which is 6 mph slower than the Turbo but 6 mph faster than the 4S. Porsche’s guess is probably a little off, since Invoice-pricing tested the Macan 4S and found that it went from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and 2.9 seconds, respectively. The GTS is likely somewhere in the middle of these numbers. Like other Macan EVs, the GTS has a 95.0 kWh battery that can be used. It can charge up to 270 kWh in 21 minutes, with a return time of 10 to 80 percent. The EPA claims the 4S can travel 288 miles, and our test of a 2025 4S on the highway at 75 mph revealed that it could travel 240 miles. Porsche doesn’t specify the car’s range. Power is important to the GTS, but Porsche also makes you want to find ways to save money. The GTS already features Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) as standard. A limited-slip differential on the rear axle, controlled electrically, helps transfer power quickly between the rear wheels. Because the differential is right behind the rear motor, the GTS’s weight is skewed toward the back, with 48% of the weight in the front and 52% in the back. It comes with air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) technology. Porsche says the GTS has the lowest center of gravity of any Macan EV. The GTS features specially designed roll bars and dampers, and rear-wheel steering can be added to enhance stability at high speeds while maintaining its agility at low speeds. The Sport Chrono package comes standard with the GTS as well. It utilizes the Taycan’s Track Endurance mode, which maintains a cool battery temperature to prevent power loss when the battery overheats. This lets you drive faster for longer. In the summer of 2019, Porsche will add a new Sport Design package to all Macan EVs. The GTS will already have this package. Black details make the GTS stand out in terms of style. The vehicle features black trim on the front and rear ends, as well as the side blades, wheel arches, and the edge of the rear flap that can be adjusted. The GTS features tinted glass in the headlights and taillights, larger rocker panels, and a distinctive diffuser that is visible from the rear. For the RS Spyder, 22-inch wheels are available, but the Macan GTS comes standard with 21-inch wheels. The GTS also comes in three brand-new colors: Chalk, Carmine Red, and Lugano Blue. Race-Tex cloth covers the 18-way power-adjustable seats in the GTS, the shifter panel, the heated steering wheel, and the armrests. The headrests and seat bolsters, on the other hand, are made of black leather. Porsche now offers a new interior kit that matches the exterior color of the cabin, available in Lugano Blue, Slate Gray Neo, or Carmine Red. The exterior colors are reflected in the seatbelts, the GTS logo on the steering wheel and seats, and the stitching, which varies in different parts of the car. The package also includes the Carbon Fiber Interior kit, featuring luxurious carbon fiber material for the shifter panel, door panels, and steering wheel. The 2026 Macan EV GTS is expected to cost $105,350 and will be available for purchase in the spring of that year. It’s $35,000 more expensive than the 4S and $6500 less expensive than the Turbo.
