If our understanding of a new “2023-Model Bronco Cancel Order and Purchase Replacement Offer” is correct, Ford is still having trouble making enough Broncos, and the problems won’t be solved soon. Customers can save $2500 off the purchase price of a different Ford model by placing their order before April 1, according to a letter that was recently distributed to Ford dealerships. Another option is to remove the “restricted commodities” and replace them with a Bronco with less trim or content. Ford thinks the problem will be solved if he spends $2500 on it. The problem, which might be good, is that demand for the Ford Bronco has stayed high since the Jeep-like off-road roadster came out. But because of issues with the supply chain and production, Ford often had to put off Bronco orders. Ford says that people who have already reserved a 2023 Bronco but have yet to get it will now have four choices. These choices will only get these customers the vehicle they asked for. Cars Direct says that Ford has sent a bulletin to dealers offering a $2500 discount to anyone who orders a 2023 Bronco but then decides to switch to another Ford vehicle. According to Cars Direct, Ford is offering “an additional incentive to cancel their current 23MY Bronco Order and instantly order an eligible 23 MY Ford automobile.” This incentive is available under the terms of the 2023-model Bronco Cancel Order & Purchase Replacement Offer. Customers who upgrade to one of seven eligible Ford models by April 3 will receive the discount. The Escape, the Bronco Sport, the Edge, the Explorer, the Expedition, the Ranger, and the F-150 are all non-Bronco cars that qualify. The Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Tremor, and Raptor are clear examples of cars that do not meet the criteria. Ford told Car & Driver that the problems are caused by, not surprisingly, ongoing issues with the supply chain. Customers who ordered “restricted features” for the 2023 model Bronco, such as the Sasquatch and Lux packages and the Molded in Color Hard Top, but have not yet received their vehicle will not be able to use them. Ford spokesperson Mike Levine said that customers who remove limited features will get a Bronco from the model year 2023 and a $2500 credit toward buying or leasing it. This is in addition to any MSRP price protection that is already in place. Customers must choose one of four options if they want to keep their reservation. As was already said, you can get a $2500 rebate. Customers can also cancel their booking and get their $100 deposit back. Third, they can look for a “suitable Bronco” at a dealer who has one if they have one. Then, they can cancel their order and put in a new one for a 2024 Bronco. If we don’t get a reservation or order for the 2023 model year,” Levine stated, “their $100 reservation deposit will be reimbursed immediately.” One problem is that no one can order a new Bronco right now. Even though the configurator is still used, Ford’s website for consumers says that “the current model year 2023 Bronco is no longer available for retail order due to overwhelming demand.” Dealers may have a limited supply of 2024 Broncos. You can’t order a 2024 Bronco through the website right now. Ford’s website also says there are no guarantees and only a limited number of Broncos available. You remain silent.
