ID. Buzz Is Not Happening In 2026, But Volkswagen Says It Will Come Back

Volkswagen’s ID. Buzz may not get as much attention as planned. For the 2022 model year, the retro-style electric minivan came to Europe. Kjell Gruner, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, said that ID. Buzz is still an important part of Volkswagen’s lineup, and “we are not canceling this product in the U.S. market.” Gruner says that Volkswagen wants to “optimize inventory” by “leveraging 2025 models to support our dealers through mid-year.” Gruner also said that the ID. Buzz would come back in 2026 for the 2027 model year.

It’s not clear if the ID. Buzz will get big changes in model year 2027, or will it just be given in the version it has now? ID. Buzz has had a hard time getting people to buy it. Only 4,934 sales were recorded in the third quarter of this year.
