Now that Tim Kuniskis is back in charge, he has big plans for Ram. On June 8, he will make the first of several announcements. The LinkedIn post by Kuniskis says that Ram plans to release 25 new goods over the next 18 months. The text doesn’t say what those events are, but we’re sure we’ll find out more about Ram’s mid-size truck and the Hemi’s comeback. About a week after Carlos Tavares quit as CEO of Stellantis, Tim Kuniskis announced his victorious return to Ram. Since Hemi’s return, there have been many rumors about its comeback. Ram has confirmed that it will return to the mid-size truck market in 2027. Now that Kuniskis is back in charge, the company should be very busy. Kuniskis says that the public will find out what Ram’s work accomplished in early June. Kuniskis wrote on LinkedIn that when he went back to work for the company, his goal was to “Build exciting trucks.” His article describes a 25-product launch plan for the next 18 months. Most of the cars listed in the statement are likely to be special editions or appearance packages for existing models. However, some may be brand-new models, like the Ram mid-size truck. It has been said before that Ram will start making the unknown mid-size car in 2027. Since we don’t know much about that truck, the mid-size will be the subject of several of those 25 releases. Ram will also likely market the Hemi line of V-8s, which will start making cars again in August. A story from last month said that since Stellantis is bringing back the V-8, the 1500 TRX might also come back in 2026. It could even be faster than the Hellcat Redeye’s 797-horsepower engine. The Power Wagon’s diesel engine, the Ramcharger plug-in hybrid, and the Ram 1500 REV EV are also likely to be announced. All three are already in production. The last 24 reveals will happen over the next 18 months, with the first one set for June 8. Invoice Pricing called Ram to find out what the statement said. We’ll make changes to this post as we find out more.
