I know that the Cadillac Celestiq show car debuted in July 2022, but I wanted to confirm. To put it another way, GM’s high-end brand has been pushing the new “Standard of the World” for the past three years. It starts at approximately $340,000, has a wheelbase longer than 10 feet, and features the largest piece of car glass in the world on its roof, among other notable features that have been made public. Now, though, I’m writing about how the first Celestiq road car was delivered to a customer. VIN 001 was given to its very wealthy new owner earlier this week, on June 23. The specs are unique, just like every Celestiq, because no two will be the same. This one, on the other hand, is made in Dolce Metallic and has Cinnamon and Camelia inside. I’m glad it’s brown instead of black, gray, or white. It was unclear from Cadillac what else they knew about the car or who owned it. That’s fine because TMZ will definitely do them the first time they go out. We do know that the Celestiq has 655 hp and 646 lb-ft of torque, just like the others. It can go about 300 miles. I’m not sure, but the next owner of the Celestiq will prioritize comfort in the back seats over speed. Cadillac must have given that area some thought because each passenger has a temperature-controlled area with seats that can be heated, cooled, or massaged. The headrests blow cool air over the passengers’ heads to keep them from overheating. Cadillac claims to have “33 unique microclimate devices” designed to make you feel comfortable. That looks like a lot to me. The Celestiq is great in almost every way. It’s 18.1 feet long and costs the same as a Rolls-Royce Ghost. Let’s see how it compares to the world’s most expensive cars now that the tires are on the road. Cadillac has taken off like a rocket. No matter how loyal you are, you can’t support the United States of America in this case.
