Once again, more and more people are buying the BMW M3. A private BMW memo leaked to the Bimmerpost forum was first reported by Motor1. It states that the 2026 M3 will cost $ 1,700 more than the 2025 model.

Leaked 2026 BMW M3 Price $1700 More Than Last Year

This is a bad thing; the price increase affects all cars, not just the standard M3. Prices increase for the base M3, the rear-drive Competition, and the all-wheel-drive Competition xDrive. The base M3 costs $79,575.

The models that BMW sells have not changed. Even though it has the least power, the regular M3 is the only type with three pedals and can still send 473 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque to the back wheels. The Competition models come with rear-wheel drive as normal, but AWD xDrive is once again an option. There are competition models with 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, but the most powerful ones only come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The email states that the higher prices for cars purchased today have already taken effect and that production of the 2026 model will commence in July. Invoice-Pricing contacted BMW to verify the authenticity of the paper, and we’ll update this page as soon as we receive a response.
