Mercedes-AMG is introducing its most race-inspired CLE53 yet in the form of the Manufaktur Edition coupe and convertible. The price of the limited number of each that will be made has not yet been announced by Mercedes-AMG. Each version features distinctive matte paint, exclusive exterior styling elements, and interiors designed for a cohesive look. If you think the regular CLE53 coupe and convertible are too quiet, Mercedes-AMG is making a special version that is anything but subtle. Only a certain number of each body type will be made, and the Manufaktur Edition has special internal treatments and styling elements. The hardtop’s matte gray color is Graphite Grey Magno. It has bright yellow AMG logos on the sides of the body and a yellow edge around the front curb. A 20-inch black wheel with a yellow rim is only on the Manufactur Edition car. If you choose the convertible, which Mercedes calls a cabriolet, it will come with 20-inch silver wheels with black details and matte-finish Starling Blue Magno paint with a black AMG side logo. The inside of each model matches its outside. The convertible has white nappa leather seats with black inlays on the backs, and the car has black nappa leather seats with yellow stitching. It comes with carbon-fiber interior trim, LED door sill protector plates, and unique floor mats with the Manufacturer Edition logo. That being said, there are no speed boosts here. They have the same 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine with 443 horsepower, nine-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive as cars that don’t have as many restrictions. The car and convertible, on the other hand, are almost fully loaded because they are based on the Pinnacle trim levels. The AMG Dynamic Plus package comes with improved brake calipers and dynamic engine mounts. It is also standard. The convertible comes with the Carbon Fiber I and II packages, which include different kinds of carbon-fiber exterior trim. The coupe, on the other hand, comes with the AMG Night Plus option, which includes black exterior parts like the grille, front apron, badges, and side mirrors. Mercedes-AMG hasn’t said how much the CLE53 Manufaktur Edition car and convertible will cost or how many will be made yet. A company spokesperson said that delivery would begin later this year.
