After the release of the 2024 Mini Cooper S Clubman Final Edition, the eccentric station wagon of the brand will no longer be manufactured and will go out of production. In honors of the year the first Clubman came out, 1969, the Final Edition will only have 1969 models. The Cooper S Clubman Final Edition looks different from other models because of its unique design and badges. It’s not strange that the Mini Cooper Clubman ended up at the big farm upstate. Since their peak in 2016, sales have decreased, and the Clubman is now the least popular Mini model. On the other hand, the Mini Cooper S Clubman Final Edition will be released in 2024 to pay homage to the lengthy and illustrious history of the Clubman model just before it is taken off the market permanently. The Final Edition was only produced in 1969, the same year that the Clubman nameplate was initially applied to a Mini, as a way to pay homage to the model’s origins. Only Nanos White, Enigmatic Black, and Melting Silver can be used outside the special edition. The Final Edition has a unique cooler scheme on the inside. The Clubman’s unique graphics on the hood and doors make the car’s shape, which looks like a Mini, stand out. Copper-closured badges show how vital the Final Edition is both outside and inside. The dark brown leather bolsters and anthracite fabric inserts in the new Clubman’s seats keep the interior looking earthy. On the door sills and the base of the steering wheel, it says “Final Edition.” The serialised badges on the floor mats and dashboard, like “1 of 1969,” let you know which car you have since only so many were made. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine in the Final Edition makes 189 horsepower and is mechanically the same as the regular Mini Clubman. Because Mini forgot about the Clubman when it brought back the manual transmission for the Cooper last year, all Clubman’s come standard with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. You can choose to have all-wheel drive, but the front-wheel industry is the standard. After the 2024 model year, Mini will no longer make the Clubman, but the all-electric Acreman SUV will fill the void. It’s always sad to see a wagon leave the US market, but sales of The Clubman weren’t great. Goodbye, Mini Clubman. We’ll miss you.
