It was thought that the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat would come back in 2026. Now, Dodge has stated that a Jailbreak model will be added to the lineup. The idea behind Jailbreak eliminates traditional build modification boundaries, allowing you to mix and match more options. Dodge has announced that its latest models will hit showrooms in the fourth quarter of this year, with pre-orders for the 2026 vehicles opening on August 13. Dodge said in late May that the Durango SRT Hellcat would return in 2026, despite being sued by a group of people for bringing back the Hellcat model after initially stating it would only be offered for a year. The company has previously stated that when the bold and aggressive SUV launches in 2026, a Jailbreak edition will also be offered. For those unfamiliar with Dodge’s Jailbreak program, the company customizes as much as possible. There are six paint colors for the outside, six badge colors, five stripe combinations, four brake caliper colors, and six wheel styles to choose from. There are three different ways to sit inside the car, four different colors of seatbelts, and five different colors of seats. The Jailbreak version can be identified by a unique badge that is carved into the carbon fiber. The new Jailbreak cars still have 710 horsepower, unlike some older models, like the 2022 Charger and Challenger Jailbreak models, which had 10 more horsepower than regular Hellcat models. The 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine in the Dodge makes the power. It takes 3.6 seconds for the three-row SUV to reach 60 mph. Dodge says that people can start placing orders for the 2026 model on August 13. The new, better model should hit stores sometime in the fourth quarter of this year. The 2026 model is anticipated to be similar to the 2025 version, which has a starting price of $86,990 and features special editions costing $103,285. The official pricing for the 2026 model has yet to be disclosed.
