The Chevy Silverado EV lineup expands for 2025 with the exciting addition of the LT trim. According to Chevy, the LT will start at $75,195 and be qualified for the $7,500 federal tax credit. This is about $21,000 less than the RST model from the previous year. A new standard battery will bring the RST’s starting price down to $89,395 in 2025. The Work Truck, designed for fleets, now has a range of up to 492 miles. For over $96,000, the electric pickup truck was mostly available to people who paid higher taxes. Before, the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST was the only store choice. The 2025 model year will bring a more affordable LT trim level from Chevy. It starts at $75,195, which is almost $21,000 less than the RST offered the previous year. Chevy says the less expensive truck is eligible for a $7500 federal tax credit, which will bring down the price even more. New Chevrolet Silverado EV LT With up to 645 horsepower and 765 pounds-feet of torque (when the Wide Open Watts option is chosen), the new Silverado EV LT comes standard with two electric motors that power all four wheels. The single battery choice for the LT has an EPA-estimated range of 408 miles. If you choose the LT Premium package, however, that range drops to 390 miles. The late-availability $6800 package comes with the Multi-Flex Midgate, GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving mode, and 22-inch wheels to swap out the LT’s stock 18-inch wheels. Silverado RST, the top model, now comes with two battery choices for 2025: the “Extended” range is normal, and the “Max” range can be added if desired. With the Extended pack, the RST’s base price has gone down from $89,395 to $89,395; the EPA estimates that it can go 390 miles. The bigger battery RST starts at $97,895, and Chevy says it can go 460 miles. Latest News about Work Trucks The Silverado EV Work Truck, which is made for fleets, will also change in 2025. As expected by the EPA, the biggest of the three battery sizes will be able to power cars up to 492 miles. More than 42 miles farther now. For an extra $57,095 to $69,495, you can get normal or extended-range batteries instead of the Max pack, which costs 77,795. The range rating for the first one is unknown at this time, but the EPA says the range rating for the second one will be 422 miles. Chevy says that most of the 2025 Silverado EV models will be available later this year. The WT and the smallest battery, on the other hand, should be available to both fleets and regular people next year.
