Rivian made a one-of-a-kind R1S Tri-Motor to celebrate the opening of a new store in Miami. The unusual SUV features disc-shaped wheels adorned with blue and pink designs. Producing 850 horsepower and 1,103 pound-feet of torque, the Tri-Motor launches from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. This electric all-terrain SUV and truck from Rivian has been sold in the US since the 2022 model year. But the California-based car company is becoming more and more famous every year, even though it’s still a “startup” and has a long way to go. Rivian created a one-of-a-kind R1S SUV with a beautiful paint job inspired by Miami, Florida’s culture capital, to celebrate the news that it would open a second store in the Miami area. Based on the R1S Tri-Motor, this unique SUV is equipped with three electric motors that deliver all-wheel drive, 850 horsepower, and 1,103 pound-feet of torque. To figure out the transaction price, the R1S Tri-Motor went from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph in 7.2 seconds. The EPA says the R1S Tri-Motor can go 371 miles on the highway at 75 mph, but our test showed it could go 250 miles with a 140-kWh battery pack. Rivian claims that the unique color scheme originated from the 1980s, and the teal and pink shades appear to have been taken straight from a Miami Vice sign. The white R1S is highlighted by eye-catching touches, featuring a blue bumper and pink tow hooks. The doors have blue bands running down them. The wheels have an old-school disc look with a blue outer rim and a white area surrounded by pink vents. The Rivian emblem on the front doors is highlighted with pink accents along the edges. Inside, pink seat inserts and blue floor mats carry the theme through. The one-of-a-kind R1S will be kept at the new store in Mary Brickell Village, a shopping center in the Brickell area close to downtown Miami. Customers can get a better look at Rivian’s cars in the new 4000 square foot building.
