Bentley’s Le Mans Collection is a small number of the Continental GT and GTC convertible. The 48 limited-edition cars celebrate the event’s 100th anniversary and Bentley’s sixth victory at Le Mans. A 650-horsepower engine runs, the car’s 6.0-liter W-12 Bentley engine. It’s enough to take a break occasionally and reflect on good times. Sometimes, you only make a small number of cars available briefly to celebrate your success. Bentley chose the second option. Bentley has released limited-edition versions of the Continental GT and GTC to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Bentley’s sixth win at Le Mans and the 100th anniversary of the race itself. Bentley’s Mulliner coachbuilding company made the Le Mans Collection of limited-edition cars to honor the 2003 race-winning Speed 8. Every Bentley in the Le Mans Collection is driven by the 650 horsepower 6.0-liter W-12 engine from the Speed models. Bentley says that with this much power, the Le Mans collection will reach a top speed of 208 mph and go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The basic GT’s soft three-chamber air springs with active dampers are back for the Le Mans Collection. All-wheel steering and an automatic limited-slip differential make the car more agile. Carbon-ceramic brakes, which can be added as an option, stop the vehicle quickly. The regular Continental GT’s three-way rotating center screen has a new twist. Bentley thought it was only fitting to include a piece of the Speed 8 in each limited version since the Le Mans Collection celebrated that car’s victory 20 years ago. After the Speed 8 won the 2003 Le Mans, the engine was removed, and 24 of the 32 valves were broken in half. Each car in the Le Mans Collection has a valve in place of the center dial on the three-gauge analog cluster. The car’s unique production number, which shows that it is part of the Le Mans Collection, is also shown on the screen. The 12-hour traditional clock on the dashboard has been replaced with a digital clock that only shows the time for the next 24 hours. There are two kinds of cars. The Styling edition has more exposed carbon fiber and a pinstripe in Moonbeam. The Blackline standard resembles the Speed 8’s black and green livery. The number “7” on the front grille shows that the 2003 Speed 8 car was the winner. We don’t know how much the Le Mans Collection will cost or when it will be available, but it will likely sell out quickly if needed, even though they cost more than the $291,225 base price of a regular Continental GT Speed Coupe.
