Tesla is now offering you the option to lease the Cybertruck electric pickup. There are options for leases of either 24 or 36 months, requiring a $7,500 down payment, with mileage limits available at 10,000, 12,000, or 15,000 miles per year. Both the Dual Motor and Tri-Motor Cyberbeast models are available for lease. The Dual Motor starts at $1068 per month, and the Cyberbeast starts at $1284. Good news for those who want to drive the much-anticipated electric pickup but aren’t ready to buy one yet: Tesla now lets people rent the Dual-Motor and tri-motor Cyberbeast models. For 24- and 36-month leases, a $7500 deposit is needed. However, the total amount due at signing costs adds up to about $10,484, as shown in Tesla’s configurator. The most miles you can drive in a year is 10,000, but you can choose between 12,000 and 15,000 miles. For 36 months, the Dual Motor car lease costs $1068 per month for 10,000 miles. For 12,000 and 15,000 miles, the monthly costs go up to $1087 and $1107, respectively. The prices go up to $1284 at 10,000 miles, $1311 at 12,000 miles, and $1338 at 15,000 miles if you choose the Cyberbeast. Customers can also choose the range extension option from the lease configurator, but they have to pay a $2,000 deposit that they can’t get back. Tesla’s website says the range extension will cost $16,000 and that it will start being made in the middle of 2025. Tesla says that once the lease is up, the truck has to be sent back to the company that made it and can’t be bought back. For $81,895, you can buy the Cybertruck directly from the company. The Cyberbeast form, which is more powerful, costs $101,985.
