The updated Hyundai i20 was shown to the world for the first time in May of this year. Now that the new car has been seen being tried in India, it may be on its way there. The hatchback has a more robust look with its new bumpers and a beautiful new grille. The car comes in eight colors outside, including three new ones like Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Grey Pearl, and Meta Blue Pearl. There are also two two-tone versions. In addition to its standard Atlas White colour, the i20 will now be offered in Phantom Black Pearl, Aurora Grey Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, and Mangrove Green Pearl. Some of these colors will have a dramatic black roof to go with them. There’s a good chance that the Indian model would come in similar color options. On the base models of the new i20 hatchback, the instrument panel will be updated with a 4.2-inch screen. Customers can choose a driver display with a 10.25-inch screen, which is much bigger and all digital. The current touchscreen entertainment system is included. This system is used in other Hyundai cars, like the Alcazar. Things to keep in mind The 2019 Hyundai i20 hatchback could include an advanced driver aid system (ADAS) like an anti-collision system and lane keep assist. The car will also have ADAS features like Smart Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Recognition, and Crash Avoidance that can be added. What was expected to happen A new 1.0-liter three-cylinder T-GDi gasoline engine will power the updated Hyundai i20. It is said to have either 100 or 120 horsepower. The machine will be paired with a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch or 6-speed iMT manual transmission. Expected cost Reports say that the updated Hyundai i20 will come after the Exter, which is set to come out on July 10. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Tata Altroz will compete with the luxury hatchback in India.
