The 2025 Cadillac XT5 has two engine options, a roomy and high-tech interior, and several option packages that carefully balance luxury and performance. This year, the only thing that’s changed about the XT5 is that the Platinum Package is no longer available on Premium Luxury and Sport models.

Trim Levels and Safety Enhancements

Luxury, premium luxury, and Sport are the three trim levels of the 2025 XT5. All of them are different in some way. 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, and a four-cylinder engine are all standard on the Luxury trim. Many safety features come standard on the XT5, such as the Cadillac Teen Driver system, lane departure warning, lane departure steering assist, forward collision alert with automated emergency braking, and pedestrian detection.

Plus, the Premium Luxury trim comes with 20-inch polished wheels, a Bose 14-speaker system, leather seats, a hands-free power liftgate, and the Memory Package, which saves settings for the driver’s seat, mirrors, and steering column electrics. Back-up cameras and blind spot monitoring are safety features.

It comes standard with all-wheel drive and a V-6 engine. The Sport trim level adds 20-inch wheels, gloss-black roof rails, and red brake calipers to make the car look a bit sportier.

Thanks to its cutting-edge technology package, the XT5 keeps drivers safe and connected. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as cloud-based voice recognition, are all built into a standard 8-inch touchscreen with a rotary controller. Each trim level comes with four USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Automatic Crash Response for eight years, and OnStar Premium for three years.

The XT5 can pull up to 3,500 pounds with the optional Smart Towing Package and the V-6 engine, while the four-cylinder model can pull no more than 1,000 pounds.
