The 2025 Porsche Taycan lineup has just expanded with the addition of two new models—or three, depending on how you prefer to count them. An all-wheel-drive Taycan 4 has been added to the more affordable side of the lineup, while a new GTS model is now available in both sedan and Sport Turismo forms on the sportier end. The 4 begins at $105,295, the GTS sedan starts at $149,895, and the GTS Sport Turismo is priced from $151,795. Orders for all three models are now being accepted. Even though we liked the first Porsche Taycan, we were even more excited about this year’s mid-cycle update, which added a new electric engine and batteries to the back. Porsche has revealed a number of new trim levels for the popular electric car. These include two new GTS models and a regular sedan with all-wheel drive. The Taycan’s mid-cycle update will continue in 2025. Before, the Taycan’s base sedan type could only come with a single electric motor mounted in the back that made 402-429 horsepower. The basic car could now compete with the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo if it had all-wheel drive and an extra electric motor for the front axle. According to Porsche, adding a front motor to the Taycan 4 improves its speed, cutting the time it takes to go from 0 to 60 mph by 0.1 seconds to 4.4 seconds. Separating the front motor from the wheels when traction and driving dynamics permit improves efficiency. Porsche added two new GTS models to its range: a sedan and a sport touring car. When launch control is turned on, the GTS models get an extra 93 horsepower, making their total power 690 horsepower, 100 horsepower more than the previous GTS versions. Porsche says the GTS car and Sport Turismo can reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds faster than the last GTS model. High-gloss black paint on the front and back aprons and the bottom of the mirrors sets GTS models apart from other models. Things inside the GTS models are the same as the top-level Turbo GT grade. These include the Sport Chrono package, the GT’s sport steering wheel, and the usual 18-way adjustable adaptive sports seats. The GTS models’ maker thinks that their special chassis tuning improves their sportiness and available rear-axle steering. An active ride suspension tuned for the GTS is optional, but Porsche’s Active Suspension Management (PASM) technology is standard. Porsche thinks that stores will have both of the new models by the end of the first quarter of 2025, but you can already place an order for them. The GTS Sport Turismo starts at 1,795, and the GTS sedan starts at 9,895. The all-wheel-drive Taycan 4 car costs $105,295. Furthermore, Porsche has expanded its color range to include new models in slate grey Neo, pale blue metallic, and purple sky metallic.
