With an extra 73 horsepower, the new Black Badge Rolls-Royce Spectre is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever. The extra power becomes available through a newly introduced Infinity drive mode, while the addition of a Spirited mode provides access to launch control. Rolls-Royce says that a secret fleet of early Black Badge cars was made because customers wanted a sportier Spectre. Instead of a smooth V12, this Rolls-Royce boasts the most powerful engine ever made. Instead, the new Black Badge version of the Rolls-Royce Spectre electric car wins. The historic carmaker has used the Black Badge to identify its high-performance cars for almost 10 years, and the Spectre is the first electric vehicle to receive it. Like the basic Spectre, the Black Badge has two electric motors and all-wheel drive. The base car has 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, which makes it easy to drive down the road. The speed version, which has 650 horsepower and 793 pound-feet of torque, can go even faster. The only way to get the most horsepower is to use the new Infinity driving mode, which makes the pedal respond faster and gives the gauges a sportier look. The highest torque is turned on by the new Spirited drive mode, which is mainly a launch control system. Press the stop and accelerator all the way to the floor at the same time to start the mode. Wait for the car to give the all-clear, and then go for it. Rolls says that the Spectre Black Badge can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds with the help of the launch system and power boost.
