Audi has announced the specifications and pricing of the new 2026 A6 car in the United States. The base four-cylinder engine from the previous model has been replaced with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 362 horsepower. Due to the availability of new handling changes, Audi may not bring the new S6 speed model to the US this time. When the new 2026 Audi A6 arrives in the United States, we’ll have more information on this redesigned mid-size luxury car, which will be exclusive to the American market. The main change is that a V-6 engine is now standard. In the old model, the base trim level came with a turbo four-cylinder engine. This is in addition to the aggressive exterior style and screen-heavy interior of the current generation sedan. There is currently only one engine option for the A6: a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine producing 362 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi also notes that several of these additional features are typically exclusive to the S6 performance model. This makes it more likely that this generation of the S6 will not be offered in the US. The base model comes with air suspension, but the top-level Prestige features a $ 5,850 Sport Plus kit that replaces it with a sportier suspension tuning using steel springs. This results in a 0.8-inch drop in ride height. The performance rear differential, customizable dampers, rear-wheel steering, 21-inch wheels with summer tires, and elegant trim pieces for both the interior and exterior are all included in the kit. The base Premium trim costs $65,395, the Premium Plus costs $68,795, and the Prestige costs $72,695. Matrix LED headlights, a head-up display, a passenger-side dashboard display, and a Bang & Olufsen music system are all excellent options. Audi states that the new A6 will be available in American car dealerships by the end of the third quarter of this year.
