The lineup now includes a new addition: the 2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate. This model is even more luxurious than the others, featuring superior materials and a more basic design. The Acadia Denali Ultimate comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, performance-tuned suspension, an enhanced Bose audio system, leather seats with a massage function, and an interior accented with Paldao wood trim. The Denali Ultimate, the highest trim level in the Acadia line, is scheduled to go on sale around the end of 2025, but prices have not been announced yet. These days, it’s hard for a mid-size SUV to stand out. After being redesigned in 2024, the GMC Acadia appears more attractive and larger, but it still lacks features that distinguish it from other mid-range SUVs on the market. Its similarities in technical features to the pricier Buick Enclave and the more affordable Chevrolet Traverse work against it. GMC has introduced a new top-of-the-line Denali Ultimate trim that will enhance the Acadia’s luxury features, aiming to make it more appealing, albeit at a higher cost. The Yukon, Sierra 1500, and Sierra HD are the only GMC cars that currently have the Denali Ultimate designation. Most GMC vehicles come in the more expensive Denali trim level. The name and high price of these cars stem from their unique exterior design, more luxurious interiors, and the extensive number of options that have already been selected. For the new Acadia Denali Ultimate, the same method is used. The Denali Ultimate differs from lower-end Acadia models in that it features a black chrome grille, unique badges, LED daytime running lights, and 22-inch metal wheels painted in After Midnight Metallic. The focus on luxury is much clearer inside, where the driver and front-seat passenger are outfitted in soft, warm Woodland Mahogany leather that can be heated, cooled, and massaged. With Paldao wood trim laser-etched on the dashboard, center console, and door panels, the cabin has a sleek yet rustic feel. Model-specific floor mats and geographic maps, carved into the backs of the front seats, are two additional interior features. The Acadia Denali Ultimate comes with a number of appealing standard extras. The features include a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system, an 8-inch customizable head-up display, a nine-camera surround-view system, and a panoramic sunroof. A three-year subscription to GM’s Super Cruise Level 2 hands-free driving system and a performance suspension configuration are also part of the deal. GMC has not announced the prices for the 2026 Acadia models yet, but the Denali Ultimate is anticipated to be priced significantly above the standard Denali trim.
