• The Sport edition of the 2026 Infiniti QX80 serves as the successor to the Sensory trim found in the 2025 version.
  • The Sport has different 22-inch wheels, a darker outer trim, and a new front bumper and grille.
  • Equipped as standard, the vehicle features a 24-speaker Klipsch audio system and massaging front seats. The black and Dusk Blue open-pore wood trim and fabric are also standard.

The 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport Features Dark Trim, But It Doesn't Offer Any Significant Speed Improvements

Infiniti is adding some style to its biggest SUV. The 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport comes with a number of basic features as well as a new front-end design, moody exterior details, and a blue-and-black interior color scheme. The Sport badge doesn’t seem to improve speed, which is a shame.

The QX80 Sport is essentially a black package. A small splitter has been added to the front bumper under the lower vent, and the grille vanes are now sharper and more acute. The mirror caps, badges, roof rails, and all other exterior trim elements feature a darker finish. As you might expect, the Sport also has beautiful 22-inch six-spoke wheels that are painted black.

The idea is taken inside with a mix of black and twilight blue leather, and the seats are perforated in a diamond shape. On the doors and instrument panel, there is dark brown open-pore wood trim that matches the dark chrome metal trim. The QX80 Sport is available in a variety of exterior shades, including Mineral Black, Radiant White, Grand Blue, and Dynamic Metal. A Black Obsidian roof can be added to any color except Mineral Black.

The Sport grade, which is higher than the Luxe grade, comes with even more features as standard, like a head-up display and electric air suspension. A fixed rearview mirror with a video feed, a 24-speaker Klipsh sound system, front seats that massage, and 64-color ambient lighting are some of the features.

The Sport name doesn’t seem to imply a more powerful engine, which is a shame. The QX80 Sport has the same 3.5-liter V-6 twin-turbo engine that makes 450 horsepower and works with an automatic nine-speed gearbox. Lower-end QX80s come with rear-wheel drive as normal, but only the Sport can be bought with all-wheel drive. A 2025 QX80 Autograph with all-wheel drive was tested by invoice-pricing. It took 6.1 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph.

The 2026 QX80 will come in four trims: Sport, Pure, Luxe, and Autograph. The Sensory trim, on the other hand, has been taken off the market. In late summer of this year, you can buy the 2026 QX80 for $85,940. The Sport will cost at least $104,140.
