The limited-edition 2026 Jeep Wrangler Commando 392 was made by Fox Factory Vehicles. Only 250 will be made, and 249 will be given to current-duty military and veterans. The last model will be sold at auction. It starts at about $70K. It has 37-inch tires, tube doors, a bimini top, drab green paint, and a raised Fox-spec frame. The engine is a Hemi V-8. One of the best things about the Jeep Wrangler is that it can be changed. Fox Factory Vehicles’ experience was combined with that untapped promise to create the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Commando 392. This one-of-a-kind 4×4 will be released on Veterans’ Day. It will definitely become a collector’s item, but it should get dirty a lot. This Fox-built Wrangler looks like a 1941 Willys, right down to a bottle of “juice” and sluggers from the steroid era in Major League Baseball, right out of the box. The Commando 392 has 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires on 17-inch wheels, available in white beadlock. The Jeep’s ride height is raised by 3.5 inches, and Fox 3.0 internal bypass dampers support the heavy off-road tires. For the Wrangler Commando 392, which is based on the Rubicon 392, a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine with 470 horsepower is used. Our test model went from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds and has an eight-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. That is a great price for a convertible with high seats and removable doors. Fox also has a few choices that can make even the craziest Wrangler run better. It comes with a Whipple supercharger that adds 705 horsepower for an extra $11,495 and an optional $3,395 Magnaflow exhaust system that should make the eight-cylinder music even louder. The basic Commando 392 will be made in only 250 units and will cost at least $69,995 each. Two hundred forty-nine of these will be set aside for people who are or have been in the US military. The last surviving Commando 392 will be put up for sale.
