For the next model year, the 2026 Lucid Air lineup has been enhanced with additional standard features and an extended range. Starting July 31, Air drivers can access Tesla’s extensive Supercharger network using a $220 CCS-to-NACS adapter available from Lucid. Every Air now comes with a charging plug for your phone and a new air conditioner compressor, which Lucid says lowers noise inside. The 2026 model year will bring numerous changes to the Lucid Air, one of our favorite electric cars. New basic features have been added to the lineup, such as access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. One model in particular is expected to have a slightly longer driving range. All Lucid Air cars will be able to connect to over 23,500 Superchargers thanks to a CCS-to-NACS conversion. Lucid reports that the adapter allows charging at up to 50 kW, offering roughly 200 miles of range per hour. On July 31, people will be able to get the $220 adapter. Payment can be made using any credit card linked to your Lucid account. All you need to do is connect to a V3 or higher charge cabinet. Now, Lucid’s Mobile Charge Cable kit comes with every 2026 Air, along with several other charging stations. When plugged into a 240-volt outlet, this allows for a charging rate of 9.6 kW, which is said to enable a speed of 40 miles per hour. Reports say that the cable can provide a 1.4-kW trickle charge at 4 km/h for users who can only connect to a normal 120-volt outlet. At the end of the day, it’s still better than not having anything at all. Each Lucid Air will get a new air conditioning fan in 2026. This should make the interior quieter while also improving the cooling. After higher-density battery cells were added, the EPA predicted driving range for the mid-range Touring model went up by 6% to 431 miles. A beautiful new set of 19-inch “Aeronaut” wheels is available, but most models do not come with them. The base Pure will receive a new rear center panel display and a storage bin if you opt for the Comfort and Convenience package. The Grand Touring now features 20-way adjustable front seats, in addition to heated, cooled, and massaging seats. For the next model year, the prices of some trim versions have gone up. The price of the all-wheel-drive Touring model has increased by $1,000, bringing it to $81,400. Prices for the rear-wheel-drive Air Pure have also gone up by $1,000, to $72,400. The luxurious Grand Touring AWD, on the other hand, starts at $116,400, which is $4000 more than last year. As before, the most powerful Sapphire, which has three motors with 1234 hp each, costs a cool $250,500.
