• Hennessey, a company based in Texas, has shown off a version of the 682 horsepower Cadillac Escalade-V that is more aggressive.
  • The Escalade H1000 is a more powerful Escalade with 882 pound-feet of torque and 1005 horsepower.
  • Hennessey’s three-year/36,000-mile warranty covers the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine of the super Slade. This is possible thanks to many improvements to the valvetrain and cooling.

Hennessey is a company that makes and tunes cars and is here to help you when you need it. The company’s headquarters are in Sealy, Texas, where they make their newest product, which is based on the Cadillac Escalade-V. The car has 1005 horsepower, according to Hennessey. It is called the H1000. That four-figure amount is a lot more than the huge luxury SUV’s already impressive stock output.

The Cadillac Escalade-V H1000 from Hennessey has over 1000 horsepower

Wilder Escalade Even More

Right out of the box, the Cadillac Escalade-V is a beast. It has a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine that usually makes 682 horsepower. This engine is very similar to the 668-hp supercharged V-8 engine in the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. A 6290-pound Escalade-V got to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds in our tests. Since the Hennessey has more torque and power, the H1000 should go even faster.

Hennessey changes the V’s engine by adding a custom camshaft, porting the cylinder heads, and upgrading everything from the lifters and push rods to the valve springs and retainers. This gives the V about the same amount of horsepower as a Supra 3.0. The V-8 also gets new fuel and intake systems, as well as catalytic converters that let more airflow through the engine. We measured 85 decibels of noise inside the factory-built Escalade-V while testing it. The accelerator was pinned down. We’re ready for the Hennessey monster to growl even louder.

High Price and Power

If you think that Hennessey’s team has made the new Caddy less reliable, you might not need to worry. We can’t tell you how to feel, though. This is because the tuner comes with a limited warranty that lasts for three years or 36,000 miles. The harder part is finding one that doesn’t cost too much. The H1000 is definitely more expensive than the new Cadillac Escalade-V, which starts at $154,290.
