Mopar’s 2023 unique Dodge Challenger and Charger versions have similar exterior and interior features. It’s only for widebody R/T Scat Pack cars and costs $3995. It’s called the ’23 Mopar Special Edition package. Mopar will sell 200 Challengers and 200 Chargers in the US, and they will start taking orders for the update in September. Since the production of both muscle cars is set to end by the end of the year, the 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger may be on their way out. Still, Mopar, Dodge’s factory-backed parts seller and servicer, will send them off with coordinated special edition packages. Twinsies in Disguise The ’23 Mopar Special Edition will be a choice for the new Challenger and Charger widebody R/T Scat Pack models. Since the 6.4-liter Hemi V-8s with 485 hp will stay the same, the Mopar fix will not change the car’s mechanical parts. It will change how they look, though. The unique versions of the Challenger and Charger have Pitch Black paint and 20-inch black wheels. They also have matte-black body graphics and Mopar Blue accents on the front and rear brake calipers, bonnet, roof, and trunk lid. The latter will be made of carbon fiber, which will not be available on any production model. On the floor and in the trunk of the ’23 Mopar Special Editions are mats with the Mopar logo. The door sides are also polished. Every car also comes with a unique Mopar owner’s package, which includes a metal certificate of authenticity. It has a picture of a car made by Mopar’s design team and a number that tells how many vehicles were produced. The ability to make things Mopar will only make a total of 440 one-of-a-kind cars. After giving 40 to Canada, the remaining 200 Challengers and Chargers, starting at $55,855 and $57,920, will be sold to buyers in the United States. These buyers will have to pay an extra $3,995 on top of the starting prices. Orders can only be placed through a specific Dodge store. The cars will be made in September, and deliveries will start the following month.
