The Honda Prologue Can Now Access Tesla Superchargers With The Help Of A Newly Introduced Adapter.

It has never been easier for people who drive a Honda Prologue or an Acura ZDX to find a public charger. With the help of a NACS-to-CCS adapter, both electric mid-size SUVs can now connect to the hundreds of Tesla Superchargers spread out across the US.

The new adapter, which Honda has accepted, costs $225 and can be purchased at any Acura or Honda dealership. Do you really want to go to a showroom? Don’t stress. It is also possible to buy the conversion on the brand’s main website. Third-party adapters are available for those interested, but Honda notes that if you damage your phone while charging with one, the warranty may not cover the damage. Something to think about.

Although there are a few CCS-style DC fast chargers in the country, Tesla’s Supercharger network is by far the largest. More than 23,500 NACS-style chargers can be used with the Prologue and ZDX thanks to the new connector. Thanks to the standard inclusion of Google Built-In software, Acura and Honda drivers can easily find Supercharger stations through Google Maps. To join and pay for things right now, you will need the Tesla app. Honda says it is working on its plug-and-charge apps.
