The Milky Way Has Been Drawn By Hand On The Ceiling Of The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Cosmos

Many people think that Rolls-Royce is the most luxurious car ever made, but the British company is always trying to get better. The Spectre shows that Rolls-Royce is very good at turning cars into works of art. The design was influenced by the Primavera’s wood panel trim with a beautiful cherry blossom picture and the Spectre Semaphore’s kaleidoscopic hood, which was made by putting swirling silver lacquer under clearcoat. This skill is exemplified by its most recent special creation, the Cullinan Cosmos, which features a hand-painted Starlight Headliner that resembles a museum piece.

The Cullinan Cosmos goes one step further than other Rolls-Royces with its Starlight Headliner, which is made up of hundreds of tiny LED lights that are laid out in the roof to look like sparkling stars. A painting of the Milky Way, with the “cosmic mist” and star band that can be seen from Earth at night, and a light show, are on this one-of-a-kind SUV.

Rolls-Royce says the artist who painted the front of the Cullinan worked on it for more than 160 hours. It’s hard to believe that the artist used a makeup brush to create the beautiful, hazy cloud-like effect that runs along the ceiling. The blue and orange color scheme that runs through the rest of the house gives the headliner a strange look.

Along with the main piece, the inside is decorated with Grace White and Charles Blue leather, contrast stitching, and Grace White piping. The door panels and headrests with the Piano White dashboard trim have a special Star Cluster design sewn on them. It has a bunch of stars and orange and blue lines that curve around each other.

The Cullinan Cosmos’s exterior is painted Arabescato Pearl to resemble moonlight, and a hand-painted double coachline in Charles Blue finishes off the look. There is light coming from the Spirit of Ecstasy car ornament.

As Rolls-Royce says, the one-of-a-kind Cullinan Cosmos was “commissioned by a family who share a fascination for the universe with their four-year-old son.” Even though the exact price of this one-of-a-kind Cullinan hasn’t been released, the Cosmos will be well over $500,000, since Rolls-Royce’s SUV starts at $407,750.
