The More Expensive 2026 Toyota Rav4 Now Comes Standard With A Hybrid Powertrain

Toyota has announced the price of the 2026 RAV4. It will only be available in hybrid form. It starts at $33,350, which is $2100 more than the RAV4’s base price from the previous year. However, this isn’t a true comparison because the base model didn’t come with the hybrid powertrain, which is now the only choice.

The LE, which has front-wheel drive, is the base model and has 226 horsepower. The SE starts at $36,150, and the XLE Premium starts at $37,550. All-wheel drive can be added to any trim level for an extra $1400. This adds 236 horsepower to the engine.

The RAV4 Woodland is a grade that is designed for off-road use. It starts at $41,350 and comes with all-wheel drive as standard. This is a big $3830 price hike compared to the Woodland model from the previous year, which was also only the hybrid option. Also, the sportier XSE and fully loaded Limited models come with AWD standard. These models start at $42,750 and $44,750, which are several thousand dollars more than the base versions.

Toyota says the more powerful RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid will be priced later, but it will be much more expensive. The standard hybrid will go on sale in December, and the plug-in hybrid will hit the market in the spring of 2026.
