• Nissan showed off the fourth-generation Elgrand car before it went on sale in the summer of 2026.
  • The outside of the Elgrand has been sharply updated, and the inside has been improved with two-tone leather.
  • As in the past, the Elgrand is a banned fruit for most of us because Nissan won’t sell it in North America.

The Most High-End Nissan Elgrand Car Ever

Nissan showed off a modified Elgrand minivan before the summer debut of the luxury MPV. When the updated Elgrand was introduced in 1997, it marked the start of the fourth generation of the car.

Nissan’s 2023 Hyper Tourer design has a big impact on the outside sheet metal of the completely reworked 2018 Elgrand. The most obvious change in the new design is the front fascia. Over 20 LEDs are integrated into a pixel pattern spanning most of the front end. In the same way, the Elgrand’s taillights are made up of a row of LED pixels that split the back of the car.

Nissan’s high-end minivan features a beautiful cabin with many luxurious touches. There are two-tone leather seats, multiple physical buttons, and zero-gravity captain’s chairs in the second row. The center panel has been fixed up, and the dashboard now has two 14.3-inch screens. Nissan will also put in a 22-speaker Bose system with speakers in the front headrests.

The new Elgrand’s powertrain is powered by Nissan’s updated e-4ORCE four-wheel drive technology. Sources say the new e-4ORCE technology uses power from the rear electric motor to keep the van from leaning forward or backward as it accelerates or decelerates. The car company hasn’t put out any scientific details yet.

People may think that this Elgrand will be going to the United States, but it won’t. It won’t be going there like the three generations before it. Instead, it will join the market for expensive minivans as another fruit that can’t be bought.
