• Rezvani, a boutique automaker known for transforming modern vehicles with unique body designs, has unveiled its newest masterpiece, the Retro RR1.
  • Built on a Porsche 911 platform, the RR1 is available with either 600 or 750 horsepower and offers both manual and automatic transmission options.
  • It will cost a crazy $195,000 to fix up, and only 50 will be made.

Rezvani is a small, specialized company in Irvine, California, that has been making one-of-a-kind bodied cars since it opened for business in 2013. Before 2024, when it got the C8 Corvette chassis, the sleek Beast was driven by an Ariel Atom chassis and Cosworth four-cylinder engines. The Vengeance, on the other hand, is a heavily protected Cadillac Escalade, and the Tank is a rough Jeep Wrangler with a V-8 engine. The Rezvani Retro RR1, the company’s newest car, looks like a Porsche 935 race car but is built on the bones of a current Porsche 911.

The Rezvani Retro RR1 Is A Porsche 911 That Is Dressed In Classic Style

The Rezvani Retro RR1 is based on the latest 992-generation of the famous Porsche 911 sports car. It has a curved body and a retro look. The back has a wing and bodywork that are molded together and wrapped around a simple light bar. The headlights are round and tall, like the ones on old 911s. Rezvani also changed the front and rear bumpers completely and carved big holes in the front and back fenders. The body is made of carbon fiber, except for the doors.

Rezvani has two different versions of the RR1. The 3.0-liter flat-six turbocharged engine in the RR1 600 is said to have 600 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds. The company that makes the 992 Carrera says that any model can be turned into an RR1, but Rezvani suggests starting with a Carrera T. This means that there are different gear choices, from automatics with eight speeds to manuals with six and seven speeds.

The RR1 750, on the other hand, is based on the 911 Turbo S. The 3.8-liter flat-six turbocharger does what it said it would do: send 750 horsepower to all four wheels, reducing the time from 0 to 60 mph to 2.0 seconds. This model, which is also said to have a “more aggressive, throaty exhaust note,” is only available with the fast-shifting eight-speed PDK transmission system.

Rezvani will put out suspension systems that can be switched between driving on the track and driving on the street. For the same price, Rezvani lets you add centerlock wheels and Brembo six-piston brakes as an alternative. You can also get a steel roll cage for $5500, carbon-fiber turbofan wheel covers for $4500, or a unique shift knob for $550.

Rezvani only showed one picture of the inside, which is the 2025 Carrera T’s wooden shift knob. This means that it’s likely the same inside as a regular Porsche. That’s fine, of course. Rezvani will also sell you a custom steering wheel with shift lights that can be added for an extra $4500 and custom seat cushions for $3750.

There will only be 50 RR1s made, and Rezvani says that the first cars for customers are already being built and they will be delivered this summer. Rezvani thinks that the first five cars will sell for $195,000. The rest of the cars will probably be more expensive, and this doesn’t include the source car. With the RR1, Rezvani Retro, a new branch of the small carmaker, will pay homage to the looks of classic cars.
