For SEMA 2025, Toyota debuted the Corolla Cross Hybrid Nasu Edition. Nasu Edition bumpers have yellow tow hooks, bigger tire arches, and a stunning purple wrap. Toyota added a refrigerator, a roof rack with a cargo basket, all-terrain tires, and a suspension raise to the cargo compartment. Toyota’s whole SUV series, including the Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and Corolla Cross, is hybrid. The stunning Corolla Cross Hybrid Nasu Edition concept will debut at the 2025 SEMA show in Las Vegas on November 4. Toyota added flair and all-terrain capability. The magnificent Mount Nasu mountain range inspired the Toyota Corolla Cross idea in Japan’s Nikkō National Park. Toyota says the area is renowned for “hiking, hot springs, and outdoor adventure,” which is why the Nasu Edition features off-road enhancements and additional equipment for adventurous tourists. The Nasu Edition features special Toyota truck wheels and Toyo Open Country A/T III tires, while the Corolla Cross boasts a suspension raise for a more aggressive appearance. A body package featuring broader black wheel arches, a hood scoop, and a bumper with silver trim concealing yellow tow hooks completes the more robust look. Toyota has added rock sliders to the rear of the Corolla Cross, as well as a roof rack with a cargo basket. Toyota added puddle lamps and lit door sills to the front bumper’s tiny rectangular lights, as well as Rigid fog lights. When the tailgate is raised, a refrigerator, a large JBL speaker, a fire extinguisher, and a unique drawer system appear. You can’t miss the Nasu Edition’s stunning wrap, which turns purple to orange depending on the angle. Apparently, “nasu” means “eggplant” in Japanese, which is why it is often depicted with a purple color. Three electric motors and a 2.0-liter inline-four engine with 196 horsepower remain. Along with the EPA’s 42-mpg combined rating, the Corolla Cross Hybrid took 7.3 seconds to reach 60 mph in Invoice-pricing testing. The Nasu Edition’s tires and accessories would definitely affect that score. Service Parts and Accessories Development came up with the idea, which is currently a concept but may eventually become add-ons for Toyota’s tiny hybrid crossover.
