• The Murciélago was the final Lamborghini to use a V-12 engine based on the original design by Bizzarrini.
  • It was also the last V-12 model from the brand available with a manual transmission and this particular one includes it.
  • It looks even more charming because the dark green leather is used over the light brown.

Giotto Bizzarrini and other engineers quit Ferrari in 1961. They were among eight workers fired by Enzo Ferrari in what became known as the “palace revolt” or “the night of the long knives.” For Enzo, this wasn’t the best thing he could have done since Bizzarrini was behind the 250 GTO. It also didn’t help that Ferruccio Lamborghini, a rival Italian businessman, showed up looking for an engine for his new sports GT car. Bizzarrini gave him a loud V-12 engine that drove Lamborghini’s most famous supercar for almost 50 years.

The Very Rare 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago, Equipped With A Six-Speed Transmission, Is Our Pick For Bring A Trailer

This 2004 Lamborghini MurciélagoMurciélago is being auctioned off on Bring a Trailer, which is owned by Hearst Autos, the same company that owns Invoice-pricing. Its long past makes it more appealing. For a company known for its bold and beautiful mixtures, this standard is very understated. It features dark green leather upholstery paired with beige leather and highlighted by contrast stitching. The biggest part is in the middle, where a real six-speed manual transmission’s shifter and open gate are mounted.

Along with electronic fuel injection, this car’s 6.2-liter V-12 engine includes four throttle bodies (two for each cylinder bank), a dry sump oil system, and four valves per cylinder. But, like the 350GT and Miura, it all goes back to Bizzarrini’s original talent. In this case, it makes 572 horsepower, 479 pound-feet of torque, and 1.3 Pavarottis dramatic decibels.

Due to its all-wheel-drive system, the Murciélago is a compact car. The horse in question, however, is not a horse; it is a supercar with an angry bull on its nose. Its insane speed is meant to tear your kidneys apart, and then it will charge at the sky with a twelve-cylinder wail. You can switch the gear yourself, which enhances the experience.

This car has only 35,000 miles on it, and the paint has been refinished to address issues with the clear coat. The 18-inch Speedline wheels with Pirelli P-Zeros look great with the green. Do you remember when the wheels on supercars were a good size? There is also a front-lift device that can help you get over parking ramps and other hurdles, provided by the company that owns the Murciélago’s new V-12 engine, which it would later share with the R8. I’m not saying anything bad about the Aventador; it was just as wild as the ones that came before it. But the MurciélagoMurciélagoa is a little out of place. More so in this case, since the

The Murciélago is the last Lamborghini to have a V-12 engine and a transmission that could be changed by hand.

Put the car in first gear with a hard click, open the door, slide behind the wheel, and start driving with your foot firmly on the carpet. Some say that if you listen closely enough to that V-12 at full power, you can hear Enzo shaking his fist in anger.
