Porsche has stated that there will be a new Taycan EV that will be better than any current sedan. It will be called the Taycan Turbo GT since the top-of-the-line Cayenne SUV is called the Taycan Turbo GT. The prototype of the new Taycan went around the Nürburgring 26 seconds faster than the Turbo S model that came before it. Porsche is always trying to make its Taycan electric sports car run better. The car company announced the latest speed version of the Taycan, which we think will be called the Turbo GT, in a news release about a prototype that beat the previous lap record set by the Taycan Turbo S at the German racetrack Nürburgring. With two electric motors that make 750 horsepower, the Taycan Turbo S is now the most powerful type. Changes that can be seen on the prototype of this new model are: The body package. The big rear wing. The wheels and tires that look like they are faster. This new form goes even further. Because of these things, the Taycan now has a 26-second lead over the Turbo S, with a new lap time of 7:07.55 around the ‘Ring. Like the Cayenne Turbo GT, which is the most extreme form of that luxury SUV, the Taycan Turbo GT will have a little more power and some features that help it lose weight. A long roof for the Taycan Turbo GT sounds great, but it may only be available for the sedan body style and not for the Cross Turismo or Sport Turismo wagon. We expect Porsche to have more news about the new Taycan soon since it will likely be added to the range for the 2025 model year. The starting price is likely to be a lot more than $200,000.
