• The Fenomeno is the newest limited-edition addition to Lamborghini’s celebrated “few off” series, following the 2021 Countach.
  • It is based on the Lamborghini Revuelto, but its main goal is to make it faster whenever possible.
  • As with every Lamborghini, the Fenomeno is named after a renowned bull, specifically one from a bullfight in Morelia, Mexico, with production capped at just 29 units.

The Revuelto’s V12 Power S Derived From The Lamborghini Fenomeno

Focusing on a specific area rather than being knowledgeable about many different subjects makes someone an expert in that area. The same idea applies to how an automobile is put together. Although the Lamborghini Revuelto is very focused and very fast, it does make some mistakes. The new limited-edition Lamborghini Fenomeno was designed with the car’s performance in mind, incorporating a few small changes to enhance its overall performance.

On the inside, the Fenomeno is still a Revuelto, but like the amps in Spinal Tap, everything has been turned up to 11. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 engine in the middle of the car makes 823 horsepower, nine more than the Revuelto. The company that makes Lamborghini says it is their most powerful V-12 ever.

The Revuelto’s three-motor electric system is also carried over. TThe trio now generates 241 horsepower, up from the production model’s 187 horsepower. According to Lamborghini, some of the extra power from the hybrid system comes from a new battery that increases the Revuelto’s total capacity from 3.8 kWh to 7.0 kWh.

Consequently, the car offers increased overall power, with the Fenomeno achieving 1065 horsepower versus the Revuelto’s 1001 horsepower. This is because the gas engine and plug-in hybrid technology have been improved. Lamborghini says its cars can go from 0 to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds, showing that more power means faster speeds. But since the Revuelto can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds, that number is a little low.

The style itself causes better performance. The Fenomeno’s new doors, which guide air to the side-mounted air intakes, help cool it down by 30%, according to Lamborghini. Extra parts guide air around the wheels and frame the front splitter to lower drag.

At the front, there is now an S-duct like the ones on GT3 race cars. It pulls air from the front of the car and pushes it up and over the roof, where it either keeps the back wing stable or cools the engine. According to Lamborghini, most of the changes in aerodynamics are due to the new shape of the hood, which makes the aero load 30% higher at speed.

The Fenomeno is part of Lamborghini’s “few off” line, so it makes sense that it will only be made in small numbers. The company is only going to make 29 of these. We don’t know how much it will cost yet, and the public might not be able to get it. Even so, it’s likely to cost a lot more than the Revuelto’s base price of $608,358.
