Toyota has revealed pricing for the 2026 bZ lineup, reducing the base price by $2,170 compared to last year’s model. The 2026 lineup starts at $36,350 for the base trim and extends up to $46,750 for the Limited AWD trim at the top of the range. For 2026, Toyota redesigned the BZ, featuring notable upgrades such as increased power and a significantly extended driving range. Perhaps customers found “bZ4X” too long to say, prompting Toyota to drop the last two characters. Regardless of the reason, the automaker has decided to rename its electric crossover simply “bZ” for the 2026 model year. Along with the shorter name, Toyota has also reduced the base price, at least for the lower half of the lineup. For the base trim, the 2026 bZ reduces the price by $2,170 compared to the 2025 model, bringing the starting price for the front-wheel-drive XLE with the standard battery to $36,350. Choosing the XLE Plus with its 74.7-kWh battery over the standard 57.7-kWh pack increases the price by $3,000, and adding AWD adds another $2,000, resulting in a total of $41,350 for the XLE AWD. The Limited models don’t offer the same olive branch as the XLEs. At the upper end of the lineup, the front-drive Limited trim nets a $44,750 starting price, making it $1500 more than the 2025 equivalent. Opting for all-wheel drive adds $2,000, raising the price of the Limited AWD to $46,750. Alongside the name change, Toyota rolled out several updates to the bZ. Every trim now includes an onboard NACS charging port, providing access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. Updated batteries and new electric motors have increased both range and power across nearly all trims. The front-wheel-drive XLE Plus achieves the highest range in the lineup at 314 miles, while the base XLE, equipped with a smaller battery, records the lowest estimate at 236 miles.
