It is no longer possible to get the 2026 Nissan Murano with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is now standard. This year, the base price for the AWD Murano is $42,965, which is only $1,000 more than the base price for the front-driver. Additionally, Nissan’s newest hands-free driving aid, ProPilot Assist 2.1, is now available in the mid-size SUV. Most people only need front-wheel drive, and winter tires provide additional grip when the weather is cold outside. Also, cars with front-wheel drive are generally less expensive than cars with all-wheel drive. This was the case with the updated Nissan Murano last year; however, the FWD model is no longer available on the market. Before, the Murano’s base SV grade was the only one with front-wheel drive. The $41,965 2025 model is priced accordingly. The fee to get in has increased by $1,000 to $42,965, which is the same as last year, as the AWD SV is now the entry point. The base prices for the first-class Platinum and second-class SL are $51,095 and $48,055, respectively. The starting prices for both have not changed since the previous year. Nissan changes the Murano from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive and adds ProPilot Assist 2.1 to the list of available features. This is the most up-to-date version of the car company’s hands-free driver-assist technology, but it is only compatible with certain roads. The ProPilot feature is part of the Platinum trim’s Technology package. If a customer chooses the SL trim level, they will get a new Comfort package with extras that were only offered on the Platinum. On the list are a power liftgate that opens automatically, heated back seats, and massage seats with integrated air vents.
