• The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric’s interior features a full panel of screens, visible inside the car.
  • In addition to the standard 12.3-inch OLED touchscreen, a larger 14.9-inch monitor is available for the front passenger.
  • The Cayenne EV’s interior features customizable ambient lighting, part of the SUV’s “Mood Modes” options.

We’re getting our first look at the inside of Porsche’s soon-to-be-released Cayenne Electric. Porsche will let buyers choose whether they want the front-seat riders to have their own third screen, but the dashboard will still be full of screens, just like the gas-powered Cayenne.

Around the outside edge of the curved screen are numerous touch buttons, and the driver sees a set of digital gauges that can be adjusted. A small air vent is located under a 12.9-inch OLED screen in the center of the dashboard, with two vertical fans positioned on either side of it. The latest technology from Porsche is shown on the dashboard when the extra 14.9-inch passenger display is added. The Cayenne EV features a curved three-spoke steering wheel, a design familiar to Porsche drivers today. There are still actual buttons and rollers on some controls, and a rotary drive-mode selector is located in the bottom right corner.

Porsche refers to the area below the middle screen as the “Ferry Pad.” It provides the user with a place to rest their palm, making their hand more stable while using the various touch features. The picture above also shows a set of toggle buttons that can be used to change the climate system’s temperature and fan speed. It is also clear that there is a real roller for adjusting the stereo’s level.

There is a long console with room and slots for small items under the middle stack. The pictures above also show the new Cayenne’s ambient interior lighting. This includes a lit strip that indicates when the electric vehicle is charging or when you switch to a different drive mode. Additionally, it can greet people as they enter the car.

The interior lighting not only shows the state of some driver-assist features, but it also helps create what Porsche calls “Mood Modes.” These well-chosen choices first show up on the Cayenne Electric. When chosen, they activate numerous cabin features, including the chairs, music, lights, and animations on the screen.

Porsche says that people in the backseat can slide and recline in seats equipped with a power button for adjustment, and the cushions can be heated or cooled. Porsche claims that the Cayenne can accommodate up to 56 cubic feet of cargo when the rear seats are folded down. There is also a panoramic windshield that slides and can be turned from clear to opaque with the touch of a button, regardless of the seat’s location. Additionally, the glass features nine separate parts that can be adjusted independently.
