In the US, Tesla is now taking orders for the Model Y Performance. The federal tax credit for $7500 off the price of a new Model Y Performance has ended, so the car can no longer be bought with that credit. On the Tesla website, it says that the new speed trim will be available for the first time in December. The best version of Tesla’s popular Y SUV wasn’t immediately improved when the company released a new model in early 2025. The company didn’t start taking orders for the Model Y Performance from Europe until the end of August. We’re now in the lead because Tesla’s new Model Y was released in the US today. After the price was checked, the brand is now taking orders. The Performance trim costs about $10,000 more than the Long Range All-Wheel Drive trim. The price starts at $59,130. The bumpers on the top level have been redesigned, with additional seat bolsters, and the screen is now 16 inches instead of 15.4 inches. Besides that, it is faster. Tesla claims that the new MYP can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, whereas the SUV’s top speed is limited to 155 mph. The 2020 Model Y Performance, on the other hand, took 3.6 ticks to hit 60 mph. The Model 3 Performance is available in a Performance trim level, offering improved handling and enhanced acceleration. The tiny SUV has 21-inch “Arachnid” wheels and a bigger track width. The long-range rear-wheel drive model has a range of 357 miles, while the high-performance all-wheel drive model has a range of 308 miles. Additionally, the high-performance all-wheel drive model has a range of 327 miles. According to its website, Tesla anticipates that sales in the US could commence as early as December 2025.
