• The new 2024 Nissan GT-R starts at $122,885 for the Premium form.
  • The most expensive NISMO model costs $222,885, while the T-spec model costs $142,885.
  • The basic form of the 2024 Nissan GT-R has mostly stayed the same since the 2009 model, which cost $70,850 or $101,825 with inflation.

In 2009, the Nissan GT-R changed the performance car market with its ballistic speed and low price. It will continue to be made with only minor changes through the 2024 model year. The changes to the front and back make the price go up by $5000. The base Premium form of the GT-R will cost $122,885, and sales of the 2024 models will begin this spring.

2024 the T-spec trim will return to fill the gap between the basic GT-R and the top-of-the-line NISMO track model. The T-spec has more oversized front fenders and NISMO’s carbon-ceramic brakes. It also comes in two classic GT-R color’s: Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple III. The T-spec starts at $142,885, about $2,000 more than the 2021 model, and gets you gold wheels.

The GT-R NISMO is the most potent model. Track monsters have 600 horsepower. A swan-neck rear wing, revamped front limited-slip differential, and upgraded front splitter and diffuser can boost downforce in 2024. A new look kit has red accents on RAYS forged 20-inch wheels, a carbon fibber hood, and a different engine cover. The base price of the NISMO is $222,885, which is $5,250 more than the base price of 2023. The NISMO will be in stores this summer. The T-spec and the NISMO are only made in small numbers.

Nissan has changed the GT-R over the past 15 years, but the 2024 model is mostly the same as the first one 2009. The price has increased significantly. In 2008, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for a new GT-R was $70,850, and the more expensive Premium model started at $72,900. Even with inflation considered, the 2024 model is still much more costly than the 2009 model. The 2009 model would cost $101,825 today, while the 2024 GT-R starts at USD 20,000.

Even though it seems doubtful that the world will see a brand-new generation of Godzilla, at least one that isn’t all-electric, it is better to have one that costs more money every year than one that doesn’t exist.
