More information about the Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 debuted last month is available. The redesigned 2019 Santa Fe is larger and has a longer wheelbase. Its larger size gives it additional interior space, and American versions now have three rows. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe’s stunning redesign was revealed last month. Hyundai has shown more about its new, bizarre mid-size SUV. This lessens the surprise, but it’s worthwhile. The fifth-generation Santa Fe is superior in practically every regard. It also restores American automobiles’ third rows. Bigger and stronger No one would believe that this Minecraft-style ute is related to the 2019 version redesigned in 2021 unless it was the Santa Fe. Hyundai gave the new Santa Fe H-shaped headlights and taillights. The 2024 Santa Fe is more significant in all directions. It is 1.8 inches longer at 190.2 inches. Despite gaining 1.9 inches of axle room, the Santa Fe is still roughly a foot shorter than the three-row Hyundai Palisade. The 110,8-inch wheelbase provides more significant space, especially in the third row. Before this generation, those sold on our land had two rows, but those sold elsewhere had three. The new Santa Fe is taller than the old one, but it’s the same width. Instead of 20-inch wheels, it has massive 21-inch wheels. Hyundai claims 26 cubic feet of space behind the back seat allows for more storage. A larger liftgate opening simplifies loading and unloading. Initial thoughts The 2019 Santa Fe may look like a Land Rover inside. Land Rover owners may be upset, but the public may be interested. With its linear layout and H-shaped elements, the new dashboard looks fantastic. We enjoy the redesigned column-mounted shifter and haptic HVAC and audio system controls between a 6.6-inch touch screen. The dashboard’s centre is a curved panel with two 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and the gauges. Good Defender-style steering wheel. The centre console contains two wireless charging stations on top of a hollowed-out space accessible from the front and back seats. Another feature is a tray on top of the glove box that cleans tiny items with ultraviolet light. Footrests for front-seat passengers aren’t evident. The second-row captain’s chairs and third-row seats can electrically relax up to 10 degrees. Hyundai claims 42.3 and 30 inches of headroom in the second and third rows. The back seats are 2.7 inches wider than in the original three-row variants. The 2024 Santa Fe offers automated emergency brakes, automatic high lights, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, and semi-autonomous drive modes. Door locks, a driver monitor, and a radar-based reminder to check the backseats have been added. Engine Prices Santa Fe engines are limited. They’ve barely changed. North America will no longer sell the 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, which delivers 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. A dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel or all-wheel drive are available. The US-registered hybrid has a 1.6-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Plug-in hybrid engines lose citizenship too. The all-wheel-drive, six-speed automated gearbox system should produce 226 horsepower. The anticipated fuel economy values are pending EPA approval. Hyundai will launch the 2024 Santa Fe in the US in the first half of 2019. Since the hybrid powertrain looks typical, the base model will cost less than $40,000 even though the firm hasn’t indicated. The Santa Fe’s top-of-the-line Calligraphy model and a more powerful 2.5-liter turbo four will likely cost $50,000.
